Begining July 1, 2020, the Mendocino Coast Health Care District Board entered in to a 30-year lease agreement with Adventist Health.  The District retains ownership of the Hospital Facilities at 700 River Drive as the lessor. The District is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the hospital, in order to retain the licensed facility for operation of the local Mendocino Coast Hospital.

Adventist Health has leased the facility for a term of 30 years, and is the Operator of the Hospital, as the lessee.
